The MUST Have In-Flight Skin Product
We asked DMK’s Head of Education Debbie Dickson about the benefits of skin spray when flying with some unexpected answers!
Sprays are touted as the thing to bring on the plane to replenish moisture in the skin – but is moisture getting into the skin when we spray mineral water?
Most water is alkaline, and skin repels alkaline water, therefore normal water sprays will not actually penetrate the skin because of incorrect pH.
What makes DMK’s spray so different from others on the market?
DMK’s Herb & Mineral Mist is pH adjusted so the skin will readily accept it, it is polarised which ensures it will penetrate the skin where it can truly restore the vital moisture. Herb & Mineral Mist is like a life force drink for the skin, containing essential vitamins minerals and water that are effectively delivered into the skin.
Is continual spraying during flight a good thing?
If you use a mist that is pH adjusted so the skin accepts it and is polarised to insure it penetrates the skin, yes, it is very beneficial to replenish lost moisture.
Is it beneficial to have our skin constantly wet?
You don’t need to over do it; we need to replenish lost moisture internally and externally, so combine spraying the skin with drinking plenty of water.
How often do you recommend we use it during flight?
Approximately every two hours. On a short one-hour flight use before and after the flight.
What will it do for our skin?
Herb & Mineral Mist will rehydrate the skin restoring vital moisture. It restores and rebalances a healthy acid mantle, which is the skin’s protective defence against harmful invaders. Other unique properties of the formulation are that the mist is astringent to refine open pores and while the antioxidants fight the damaging effects of free radicals and bacteria. It can also be used on all skin types both male and female.
Any other in-flight skin tips for keeping skin looking fresh and hydrated?
If you fly a lot or have a long flight to go, DMK also has a fantastic essential fatty acid supplement, EFA Ultra, which acts as an internal regulator of fluids that can be lost during the flight.
